Mission Statement
Cebu International School is a private secular institution offering a Nursery to Grade 12 college preparatory international education. CIS is a non-stock, non-profit, self sustaining corporation governed by a Board of Trustees elected from the parent body. The school has been serving clientele from both the domestic and international communities since 1924.Awarded Republic Act 9190, Cebu International School operates to sustain its international nature and employs a multinational administration and faculty. The school aims to develop well-balanced, global citizens who are intelligent, dynamic, technologically competent, environmentally concerned and respect universal moral values within the multinational environment of an ever-changing interdependent world. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, ESL curriculum and After School activities enrich and broaden the school program. Accredited by the Western Association of School and Colleges (WASC), a CIS education prepares individuals and provides the skills necessary to succeed in the 21st century. CIS is committed to promoting the learning, health, well-being and security of its community.

Facilities
The school relocated to a new 3.2 hectare campus with full facilities for 550 students in August 2000, approximately 13 kms from the center of Cebu. Facilities include 80 m classrooms, a library, computer labs, science labs, art rooms, music rooms, a drama studio, home economics, canteen, covered gymnasium, 2 swimming pools, full soccer field and administration block.

These fees are necessary to support the intensive teacher, resource and tutoring requirements that the ESL student need. Fees are levied as follows: ESL Beginner level

US $ 110.00 per month IMPORTANT NOTES: A. To protect parents interests against further FOREX fluctuation, the School Board has capped the exchange rate at P57.00 to the dollar for the school year 2005-2006. Fees need to be paid in dollars. Payment in peso will be accepted but will be subject to the prevailing rate of exchange applicable on the day the payment is made. Should the exchange rate be greater than P55.00 to the dollar at the time of payment, then a P55.00 figure will be applied. B. Tuition fees may be paid on a quarterly basis. All other fees are to be paid upon enrollment. C. Students who enroll in Pre-School will be required to pay the Entrance Fee for New Students when they enroll in Grade 1. RESERVATION FEE: In order to secure and guarantee a place for your student in the school, a deposit of US$ 300.00 must be paid. This is deductible from tuition fees and is only refunded if the family transfers out of Cebu before actually taking up the place in class. The reservation Fee guarantees a place for the student in the necessary grade up to August 30, 2005.
