Facilities
NISV has one of the finest school complexes in Vadodara city. A beautiful, well ventilated, fully equipped and air-conditioned building stands amidst the sprawling lush green surroundings. Since the school believes in the overall growth and development of it"s students, it has developed all the infrastructure and facilities necessary for a modern academic institution.
Study Centers ¬
The centers have the necessary equipment and resources for day-to-day educational pursuits, with comfortable seating arrangement for students. These are well equipped with ICT facilities.
Science Laboratories ¬
The laboratories are equipped to high standards of safety and support the core programs of learning science right from an early age. Skills of experimentation is not only taught but encouraged under the supervision of trained tutors and laboratory technicians
Information and Communication Technology(ICT) Center ¬
The Use of ICT is in evidence throughout the NISV campus with sophisticated networked nodes, computer system installations and fast Internet connections. The installed Internet connections, e- beams, digital projection and audio visual systems, and host of ICT hardware enhances the quality and depth of learning for the student as also for teaching community at NISV. The school has successfully integrated computerized process of administration, be it for preparation of report cards, fee slips, communicating with parents, managing the school finances etc. The school’s website contributes immensely in the dispersion of information and interactive communication capabilities.
Design and Technology Center ¬
The Center is outstanding for it helps to prepare students for living and working in a technological world. It does this by teaching them how to analyze products and their application, specific knowledge and application, and the design methods and manufacturing skills needed to produce quality practical solutions to real problems. NISV students are encouraged to pursue individual projects with the support and advice of tutors and visiting experts. The best of these experiments may lead to commercially viable products even while the students are still at school.
Media & Resource Center ¬
The Central Library, planned for over 30,000 books, tapes, CDs, VCDs and DVDs, is staffed by qualified librarians and equipped with networked computers linked to a filtered Internet service.
Ample facilities have been accorded for reference reading and research. Extended Library facilities are provided in study centers, tutors conclave, boarding houses and other learning centers.
Open Air Theaters ¬
A unique open air theater, within a huge quadrangle has the capacity to accommodate about 1000 people for any function or event. It is a treat to be present for morning assembly, when the school begins at 8-30 a.m. “Expressions”, another stage in front of the Performing Arts Center is a beautiful venue for public functions.
Multi Purpose Hall / AV Rooms ¬
Seminars, competitions and meetings are conducted regularly in the hall for the staff, the parents as well as the students. These have the latest facilities in terms of presentation equipments.
Kitchen & Dining Hall ¬
A clean and fully staffed kitchen prepares food which is wholesome and nourishing. Tutors and students from Nursery to XII enjoy a varied menu everyday, in a very hygienic and clean dining hall.
Sports Center ¬
The school has Volley ball, Basket ball and Tennis courts, Horse Riding track, Swimming Pool (Olympic size), as well as grounds for Football, Hockey, Cricket and Athletics (400 mt track). The practice nets for cricket encourage students to achieve excellence. The Indoor sports area equipped with 20 Table Tennis tables and a practice ROBOTIC TABLE, is very exciting for the students. Carom, Chess etc. are the other games which are enjoyed by the students.
Performing Arts Center ¬
The school has a state of the art center catering to both Western and Indian forms of music, dance and drama. This center in more then one ways is the nerve center of the school, since it facilitates the inter disciplinary approach in the teaching learning process. It offers a wide variety of choices in Western and Indian music both vocal and instrumental and similarly in dance.
Visual Art Center ¬
The school has a well-equipped Visual Art Center for imparting training in various disciplines, enabling students to gain interest and basic skills which they may pursue as careers or hobbies as adults. The hobby activities offered are: Pottery and Terracota, Photography, Batik Printing,Cooking, Rangoli, Flower arrangement, Carpentry, Soft Toy making and others.
Infirmary¬
In case of any illness or accident, first aid is provided immediately to the child at this center. A well qualified nurse is appointed to look after the students. Specialist doctors are called and consulted on a regular basis.

Counseling Center ¬
A school is an institution which strives to educate a child into becoming a complete human being. A school-going child passes through different phases of development, both physical and mental. Many factors in the growth and development of school-going child might affect or hamper his learning process. Hence, at this point it is essential, that we understand the child"s intellectual, emotional and physical growth and try to remove or minimize any obstacles that come in the way of his learning.
The team of counselors in our school is essentially a very important support system which helps the child to pass through the learning process with comparative ease.
The team as a whole deals with problems such as emotional and social maladjustment, arising out of parental pressures, cultural disparity and functioning of adults in his environment. Our counselors offer student guidance in the areas of physical and social growth by helping them to understand themselves better and the society in which they live; to aid students in planning their academic and social goals; and to assist students in dealing with personal adjustment problems. These objectives are accomplished through group or individual counseling and by working with parents, tutors and the school administration.
We welcome the parents to take help from our resource team, whenever needed and help us to help the child become a well- adjusted and balanced individual.
All discussions with the resource personnel are strictly confidential and privacy is assured. Career Counseling
Students are helped in planning their academic pursuits and careers. A number of workshops and interactions with the professionals and experts from different fields are organised for the students so as to help them discover their future goals. They are also helped to identify their universities, write their SOPs, SAT etc.
Student Hostel ¬
NISV has two student hostel complexes - one each, for the boys and girls. The three - storey student residences have been designed for safety, comfort and aesthetic living. Air-conditioned bedrooms accommodate three students, each having their own bed, wardrobe and study table. Study lounge with ICT network node, on each floor, is a unique feature that enhances private study environment. Pastoral care is provided by the House Parent, Resident Staff and the school Counselors.
Staff Residences ¬
Some of the staff members live on campus in beautifully designed spacious flats.
